| | | | International Ministerial Fellowship | The International Ministerial Fellowship was established in 1958, and chartered October 25, 1960 as a Texas non-profit corporation by Pastor F.C. Masserano, Sr., Dr. George Steiglitz, Rev. C.R. McPhail and a group of men and women who believed there was a need to establish a fellowship of non-denominational ministers committed to preach and teach the Gospel of Christ, promote a fellowship among non-denominational ministers, build churches, publish gospel related materials and support missions. Several of these men and women had served together previously as members of the World Bible Way Fellowship in the forties and early fifties under the direction of Rev. Guy Shields and Rev. Albert Daly.
Dr. George Steiglitz of Crochett, Texas, served as its first President. Following his death, the Fellowship was merged with World Bible Way Fellowship of Dallas, Texas and Dr. Albert Daly served as President for a number of years. In the early seventies the Fellowship separated from World Bible Way Fellowship and continued under the leadership of Rev. F.C. Masserano, Sr., of Memphis, Tennessee until his death in October, 1981. Rev. Frank Masserano, Jr. served as President until 1985. In 1985 the Fellowship relocated to Minneapolis, Minnesota and Rev. L.L. Kirkman of Evansville, Indiana, served as President, followed by Rev. Lawrence Kutzler of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dr. Bill Tolson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dr. M.G. McLuhan of Sun City, Arizona, Dr. Morris Sheats of Dallas, Texas, Pastor Fred Kelly of Norcross, Georgia and presently by Pastor Randy Alonso of Rockledge, Florida.
Many of these men were independent pastors/evangelists/preachers with a pioneering spirit who put their complete faith and trust in God. Their wives showed the same vision and commitment to do God’s will and to serve without reservation. [More]
| | | | Walking In Truth Ministries | Connie Giordano | Dallas, TX | My name is Connie Giordano. I am an Evangelist and a Bible Teacher.
Please allow me to tell you a little about myself.
In May of 1975, I graduated with honors from Millersville State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education with English as my major. I pursued Graduate School but stopped just six credits short of my Master's Degree.
Immediately following graduation, I began my teaching career in September of 1975 at W.I. Beahm Junior High School. I remained there for four years until God interrupted my plans with His.
It was in the year of 1978, in the middle of my teaching career, when I was Born Again.
Shortly after being saved, I met my husband Carl. We were married in March of 1979, and five months following, God called us to leave Lancaster, Pennsylvania - leaving family and a teaching career behind - to move to Dallas, Texas, to attend Christ For The Nations Bible Institute. [More]

| | | | Which day is the Sabbath? | Bibleinfo.com | Sabbath Around the World
Looking at over 100 languages around the world, the seventh day of the week, is translated as “Sabbath”. Here is a short list of languages and their translations: (Arabic: Sabet, Czech: Sobota, Indonesian: Sabtu, Italian: Sabato, Latin: Sabbatum, Portuguese: Sábado, Russian: Subbota, Spanish: Sabado).
What does the English language say about the Sabbath? Webster’s dictionary defines the Sabbath as the following: “Seventh day, Saturday, the seventh day of the week.” (Webster’s New Twentieth Century Dictionary, unabridged 2nd ed.)
Consider this—no language contains a correlating link between the word “Sabbath" and the first day of the week. In fact, not even one language designates another rest day besides the seventh day. This confirms the fact that those who used the original languages understood the meaning of the Sabbath and which day it fell upon. [More]

| | | | The Sabbath and the Mark of the Beast | Sabbath Truth | A tattooed number, a computer chip under the skin, or something more subtle? It's one of the most misinterpreted prophecies in all of the Bible - yet it is so important to correctly understand this subject. But in studying the mark of the beast, we must address some very sensitive issues, naming names and being specific. This is not a popular thing today, but we must be firm because God loves His people and He wants them to know the truth. This message is not ours, but Jesus'. And with eternal death facing those who receive the mark, it would be a crime to not help Him deliver this message. This lesson should probably be prefaced with a warning: "THE DEVIL DOES NOT WANT YOU TO READ AND COMPLETE THIS STUDY GUIDE." Please read Revelation 13:1-8, 14:9-12, and 16-18, and pray for the Holy Spirit to grant you an honest and understanding heart before embarking on this study adventure. An Urgent Reminder We learned from Study Guide 2 that a terrible conflict is in progress between God and the devil. It has raged through the centuries since Lucifer, heaven's most powerful angel, rebelled against God. With the angels who joined him, he attempted to overcome God and seize control of the universe. God and the loyal angels had no choice but to eject Lucifer and his angels from heaven. Lucifer, who became known as the devil and Satan, was infuriated. His determination to destroy God and control the universe has grown with every passing year. Amazingly, he has won the support of the vast majority of earth's people in his rebellion. The Lord also asks for people's loyalty and support, but He leaves all free to choose. Soon every person on earth will have aligned with either Satan or God. The final battle between Satan and God is just ahead, and it is described in the book of Revelation. This book points out that God has an emblem, or mark, which will identify His people. Satan also has an emblem, or mark, that will identify those who support him. As usual, Satan will work through an earthly power symbolized in Revelation by a beast to impose his mark. This Study Guide will reveal the beast's mark, which every lost person of the end time will receive. Unless you know what his "mark" is, how will you avoid receiving it? [More] | | |
| | | | Catholic Worker Movement - Wikipedia | The Catholic Worker Movement started with the Catholic Worker newspaper, created by Dorothy Day to advance Catholic social teaching and stake out a neutral, pacifist position in the war-torn 1930s. Day attempted to put her words from the Catholic Worker into action through "houses of hospitality"[4] and then through a series of farms for people to live together communally. The idea of voluntary poverty was advocated for those who volunteered to work at the houses of hospitality.[5] Many people would come to the Catholic Workers for assistance, only to become Workers themselves.[6] Initially, these houses of hospitality had little organization and no requirements for membership.[7] As time passed, however, some basic rules and policies were established.[8] Day appointed the directors of each of the houses, but tried to maintain autonomy in the actual running of the houses. Because of this policy, the houses varied in both size and character: in the 1930s, the St. Louis Workers served 3400 people a day while the Detroit Workers served around 600 a day.[9]
The Catholic Worker newspaper spread the idea to other cities in the United States as well as to Canada and the United Kingdom through the reports printed by those who had experienced working in the houses of hospitality.[10] More than 30 independent but affiliated communities had been founded by 1941. Between 1965-1980 an additional 76 communities were founded with 35 of these still in existence today,[11] such as the "Hippie Kitchen" founded in the back of a van by two Catholic Workers on Skid Row, Los Angeles in the 1970s.[12] Well over 200 communities exist today, including several in Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, and Sweden.[13]
Co-founder Dorothy Day, who died in 1980, is currently under consideration for sainthood by the Catholic Church. [More]
| | | | Culture Impact Teams | With all the diversity in the body of Christ, the churches that are having the greatest impact for the common good typically share a common conviction: there is no substitute for obeying the Great Commission and the Cultural Commission. The body of Christ must provide persuasive moral influence in the public arena as the "salt" and must engage in personal evangelism as the "light." There is no plan B. There is something else these successful churches often share in common: More often than not, the churches that are reaching people for Christ have an intentional plan for evangelism and the churches making a positive impact on the moral health of their community have a ministry team devoted to this purpose as an official part of their ministry structure.
These ministry teams are known by various different names - Christian Citizenship Committees, Salt & Light Groups, Moral Concerns Ministries, Current Issues Councils, etc. - but their function is the same: to provide in-house leadership for congregational response to the moral and social issues that impact the community, state and nation. We've chosen to call these groups Culture Impact Ministries. Regardless of what you call yours, helping you to establish an effective one in your church is our desire. [More]
